Our 6 week drug and alcohol treatment Dayhab programmes are made up of a mixture of group work and one-to-ones with our team of specialist therapists. We also offer an online drug and alcohol Dayhab programme that you can do from home or work, which is ideal if you can’t get to one of our centres. You can learn more about it here.
Both programmes offer free aftercare for 3 months and we also offer a family programme for up to two family members or friends of clients in treatment with us.
While this is not compulsory, experience shows that family relationships and friendships improve greatly when they’re involved in the treatment process. And it also increases the chances of long-term recovery.
For those accessing our centres we also include free conjoint sessions between our clients and their significant other to improve communication and address other issues.
Often there are deep, underlying reasons behind alcohol and drug problems, and we use a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, counselling and psychotherapy to get to the root of the issues. This combination of therapies, which we describe as Combined Behavioural Intervention, has proved extremely effective in addressing associated negative behaviours and achieving lasting change.
While the Help Me Stop Dayhab programme is unique to us, our treatment model is fully aligned with with guidance from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
We are affiliate members of Addiction Professionals UK (formally FDAP/SMMGP) and all our therapists are registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) or other recognised registered bodies.
