Asking for help can feel overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be. Our Dayhab enquiries and admissions process is simple and friendly. We'll address your concerns, answer any questions and, if you decide Dayhab is the right solution, guide you through the admissions process.
Fill in our contact form, call or email us or come along to one of our free drop-in advice sessions.
We're Data Protection Registered and any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence.
To help you decide if Dayhab is the right treatment option, we usually start with a phone conversation. If you're happy to proceed, we'll take you through our assessment questionnaire. This will give us a clinical evaluation of the problem and help decide if Dayhab is the solution for you.
We will also talk to you about how the programme works and make sure you understand the commitment you need to make, and how Dayhab could fit into your schedule.
This assessment is free and unbiased. If we think our detox and Dayhab programme is not the best treatment for you, then we will provide you with some suggested alternatives.
If you're a friend or family member of someone with an alcohol or drug problem, you're welcome to speak to us over the phone, book an individual appointment – either on your own or with the person that is having alcohol and/or drug problems - or come to our free weekly drop-in advice group. You don't need to book, just turn up for an informal, confidential chat. It's a useful way to get some guidance and understand what we offer. And you'll also meet others in a similar position.
Once you've decided on Dayhab, we'll agree the days and times you can attend, draw up an agreement and take payment. We're open from 8.30am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 3.00pm at the weekend, so we should easily be able to work out a timetable that fits in with your daily schedule. You need to complete 160 hours in total, and you need to commit to a minimum 16 hours per week. Once you've decided on the days and times, all we ask is that you stick to them.
Please note: Before starting treatment, clients must visit us, complete the assessment questionnaire, receive their personal programme and transfer funds for the whole programme.
If you have a problem with alcohol or drugs, or know someone who does, please get in touch for free, confidential advice.
